Rethinking Transportation

When the Rethink Transportation report hit this spring, you could almost feel the shock waves.

Transportation evangelists across the country posted links to the report and shared their own derivative ideas as to how our cities should adapt. Tony Seba’s YouTube video followed shortly thereafter and soon millions were learning of this prediction of disruption.

What’s the fuss about?

Simply that Autonomous Electric Vehicles, UBER with robots, will completely disrupt our present energy and transportation industries (shipping, healthcare and manufacturing, too).

Science fiction?

Some will say so, but the disruption scenarios are based on equal measures of science and cold, hard economics. It’s a little bit scary and a whole lot exciting.
