Rodger Hembree rides a bike

Most days he rides 3 times a day – down to the beach and back. It’s a routine that combines exercise and socialization opportunities. Everyone knows Rodger, so it seems, as he taught high school here for 30 years – he’ll often stop along his route to say hello and talk a little college sports. He could be a poster child for ‘all ages and abilities’ when it comes to why we advocate for safer bicycle infrastructure.
