Michael Montenegro

Named one of the “Local Heroes” by the Santa Barbara Independent (November 26, 2024), for his activism as a cyclist and his commitment to Hispanic and indigenous cultures in Santa Barbara. The cover story put the spotlight on a man who has toiled at telling stories for over a decade.

Michael’s collaborating with the Museum of Contemporary Art in Paseo Nuevo for a meet ‘n greet on Wednesday February 12; come by for food and drink refreshments during the week of the Film Festival.

And mark the calendar now for his 10th Annual Mural Ride, Saturday November 1st at 1pm; suitable for all ages and abilities.

One of the lessons I’ve learned is, hang out with people whose eyes light up, who are authentic and happy to work with you.
